Jan 11 – ALL TYPES OF GOOD THINGS!

“Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy” (I Timothy 6:17).

Our God is one who gives all good things perfectly. Some people always see God to be one who subjects us to troubles. They keep saying that they are being troubled just as Job suffered. It is because of this, they are not able to receive the perfect blessings completely. 

Sufferings are there for you in the world; tribulations also are there. At the same time, God also has promised you many good things. He waits to exalt His children and give them more blessings when compared to others. 

When God blesses you, you have to gleefully accept the same and prosper in both spiritual and worldly lives. You should also receive all the blessings of the Most High. That is why Paul the Apostle says, “…for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound” (Philippians 4:11, 12). 

Dear children of God, how greatly God loved you and created the world for you! Along with the sun and the moon, He has also provided you with suitable climatic conditions, varieties of fruits, trees and plants for you. He stays with you as a Heavenly Father and is merciful towards you, similar to how a father cares for his children. Not only that. He remains as a God with life and gives you all good things perfectly for you to enjoy. 

You can look at Him and call Him “Abba, Father.” You can pray and receive precious things from Him. The Scripture says that ‘everyone who asks receives’. It is never the will and wish of God for you to struggle due to shortfalls. “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers” is the will of God.  

Dear children of God, do you want your debt problem to get solved? Do you want your children to get exalted in their lives? Do you want them to get employed in high positions? Do you want to be blessed with gifts of the spirit and grace? Do you want to gain more souls for God? Seek from God who gives perfectly. If you seek with faith, you will surely receive.   

To meditate: “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work” (II Corinthians 9:8).
