Nov 23 – UNFAILIING SPRING OF WATER !

How precious are the blessings of the Lord! And all these blessings are granted unto you for your benefit. When you claim these blessings, they are fulfilled in you as Yes and Amen.

Some lakes and ponds will be full of water, during rainy season; and they will become dry in the summer. There are many rivers in Tamilnadu, which flow with abundant waters in rainy season; and are completely dry in the summer. The blessings are there for a while and then it is replaced with complete drought.

But the children of God, will never run dry, or diminish or wilt. You are like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. The Lord compares you to an unfailing spring of water; which gives out its sweet water all through the year. The blessings of the Lord shall never go dry. His benefits, graces and blessings will never depart from you. Glorify the Lord, who is the foundation of life (Psalm 36:9).

The fountain of the Lord removes all the lacks and deficiencies in your life and fills you with His rich blessings. Once there was a great deficiency in the house of a prophet’s widow. But the Lord made a fountain to spring from her vessel; it was a fountain of oil, and it kept on pouring out oil till there were no more vessels to fill. Just like there was oil in the vessel, you have the anointing of the Holy Spirit within you, like a fountain. Our Lord Jesus said; that it will become in you a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life (John 4:14).

The men of this world are suffering and dying of thirst; and are desperately looking for the fountain of life. The Lord says; “The poor and needy seek water, but there is none, their tongues fail for thirst. I, the Lord, will hear them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them. I will open rivers in desolate heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water” (Isaiah 41:17-18).

Only Lord Jesus can quench the thirst of your soul; He is the One who can give you the living waters. The men of this world seek and thirst after temporal pleasures, sinful lusts and money; and they shall never be satisfied. But our Lord not only quenches and satisfies your thirst, but also makes a fountain spring from within you and make you a channel of blessings to others. Children of God, praise the Lord, as He has made you a fountain of blessing!

Verse for further meditation: “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:23).
