MAY 18 – WORSHIP HIM!
“Give to the Lord the glory due His name; bring an offering, and come before Him.
Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness” (I Chronicles 16:29).
God has a special expectation in you. It is “This people I have formed for myself; they shall declare my praise” (Isaiah 43:21).
Of all the people on the face of the earth, God has chosen you as His holy people. You will praise Him in this world and also in eternity. First of all, you worship Him in your church. You humble yourself, submit and worship Him. You think of all His grace and praise Him.
You praise God for all the good things He has done for you. The Scripture says, “Because He is your Lord, worship Him” (Psalm 45:11). Dear children of God, every breath and every heartbeat of yours are because of His grace. Is it not? (Daniel 5:23).
Secondly, when you come to the church, you speak to God open heartedly. You proclaim your faith and receive the good things from God.
Once, Jesus Christ empathized with a man who was born blind and healed him by anointing his eyes with clay. When his eyes were opened, he returned happily. When God met him after sometime, He asked whether he had belief in the Son of God. The man replied in the affirmative and worshipped God (John 9:35, 38).
When you come to the church do not stop with praying. Proclaim your faith saying, “God, I believe you. You created the world. You gave your life for my sake in the Cross of Calvary. I believe that you will come to the earth again”.
Thirdly, when you come to the church, you should be the ones to thank Him. Let the feet of God be your symbol of consolation. Go to the church when you face problems. Share your burdens with Him. God will command blessings and console you.
To meditate: “I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple” (Isaiah 6:1).
