MAY 6 – THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT!

“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth…and He will tell you things to come” (John 16:13).

Your burdens will decrease when there is one to guide you. You will rely upon the person who could guide you powerfully. What is said here is that the Holy Spirit not only guides you but also reveals what is in store for the future, and this provides double happiness and mental satisfaction.

On many occasions, you happen to stand in narrow lanes. You have to choose one of the many paths which lie ahead. You do not have sufficient knowledge of the paths ahead of you. Your wisdom is also naturally less. But the Holy Spirit knows everything. He is the one to judge everything correctly. He alone is capable of guiding you on the right path. If you stay under His guidance, you will never go in the wrong direction. The ways of God will bring eternal blessings in your life.

How great it is for the Holy Spirit to stay with you and dwell in you! The Holy Spirit, who guides you, will also bestow you with wise speech. The Scripture says, “…do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say. For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say” (Luke 12:11, 12).

At the right hour, He will enrich you with wise words like that of a great scholar, when you have to speak. That day, all the people around were amazed at the words spoken by Peter. Peter was illiterate, and he was just a fisherman but see how prominent his words are in the Scripture. Has not God included all his epistles in the Scripture?

See how greatly the Holy Spirit guided Paul and Silus in the ministerial path providing them with the revelations. He guided them to begin the ministry (Acts 13:2). He guided them in the midst of the ministry (Acts 16:7). The Holy Spirit guided them also to the end (Acts 21:11).

Dear children of God, place all your burdens on God and rejoice by singing and praising Him.  He is the author and finisher of our faith. He will speak to you in a thin voice with clear sound and plans. The hero of your life will guide you wonderfully.

To meditate: “Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left” (Isaiah 30:21).
