APRIL 14 – ON A FRUITFUL HILL!

“My Well-beloved has a vineyard on a very fruitful hill” (Isaiah 5:1).

A fertile hill will have good fertilizer, rich soil with surplus irrigation. Apart from these factors, the suitable climate will also be there for plants to flourish. What is your prosperity? The prime one which God has given you is the adoption. It is because of adoption you are calling Him “Abba, Father”.

The promises of God are the second prosperity given to you. God has given you more than four thousand powerful promises in the entire Scripture. They are very glorious, prosperous and wonderful. All the promises of God in Him are yes, and in Him Amen.

The third prosperity which God has given you is the covenant you have made with Him. Firstly, He made a covenant with Adam. In it, God promised to send the Messiah, who would crush the head of Satan. He made a covenant with Noah wherein He promised not to destroy the earth by a flood. Saying this, God set a rainbow on the clouds as a sign of the covenant. He also made a covenant with the Israelites through the law. Today, Jesus Christ has entered a new covenant with you with His blood.

Fourthly, the prosperity which God has given you is your worship of God. God who chosen you to be His people on the face of the earth has given you the order of worship, divine servants of God and heavenly sermons. During the time of worship, He fills you with the divine presence. When you worship, you get connected to the saints all over the world as well as the cherubim, seraphim and countless angels of the heaven. More than that, you are also connected to Cherubim and Seraphim in heaven, and with the numerous angels. The worships in the earth resemble the heavenly worships.

Among the numerous prosperities given to you by God, there is forgiveness, Salvation, divine peace, the anointment of the Holy Spirit, eternal life, the gifts of the Spirit and the fruits of the Spirit. The Psalmist says, “…you brought us out to rich fulfilment” (Psalm 66:12). “The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; yes, I have a good inheritance” (Psalm 16:6). You can enrich it with the river of God, which is full of water (Psalm 65:9).

Dear children of God, think of the great blessings which God has given you and praise Him.

To meditate: “ For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills” (Deuteronomy 8:7).
