Mar 30 – IN THE CLOUDS!

“Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord” (I Thessalonians 4:17).

On the 21st of July, 1969, a big rocket named ‘Apollo 11’ was launched from the ‘Kennedy Space Centre’ in the USA, to the moon with three persons in it. Neil Armstrong was one among the three and on landing on the moon, he said, “That’s one small step for man; one giant leap for mankind”.

At the same time, it is an undeniable fact that you will fly over the Solar and Lunar zones and meet Jesus Christ. Many questions like, ‘On which rocket I should climb’, ‘How much I will have to pay as tariff’ and ‘How many days, will the travel last’, will rise in your heart.

God has taken charge of all those things. When the trumpet makes its sound, your body itself will become a rocket. The Scripture says, “…For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” (I Corinthians 15:52). “So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory” (I Corinthians 15:54). Paul, the apostle points out, “Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds” (I Thessalonians 4:17).

A holy life and the Holy Spirit’s anointment are highly essential for one to be taken up, during the Coming of God, It is the Holy Spirit, who transforms this body made of mud, into one, suitable to fly. Paul, the apostle says, “But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you” (Romans 8:11).

You are fitted with the heavenly engine of the Holy Spirit similar to the huge engine of the rocket. It is God who clears the burdens of the world and takes you to the Most High. After Resurrection, Jesus Christ was taken away from the Mount of Olives like a rocket. He went above the solar and lunar zones and finally sat at the right side of God. Jesus Christ will come again. You will live with Him forever. To meditate: “And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to myself” (John 12:32).
