Mar 7 – COMPASSION AND TEACHING!

“Jesus…was moved with compassion for them…so He began to teach them many things” (Mark 6:34).

God loves you. He came to this world because of His love over you. His friendship came out as words of love. When you attentively listen to a person, you come to understand his level of love. Love gets revealed by words and deeds.

Watch with care, the words spoken by Christ in the Scripture. They are ones to melt the hearts. All those words reveal love alone. Jesus saw the multitude of people and He began to preach many things to them with compassion.

When He was in the wilderness, people from all places came in search of Him and waited to hear His Word of love. When He was seated in the temple, people expected His gracious words. People with sickness who came there eagerly waited for His Word with the hope that His one Word will heal them.

Jesus Christ forgot His rest and also His food. He visited village after village in a non-stop manner, met the people, preached them with compassion and did not mind whether it is day or night. The Scripture says that He talked to them about many things (Mark 6:34). In the book of Mathews, the prayers in chapter numbers 5, 6 and 7 are known as the Sermon on the Mount. He spoke here everything, which a man requires. All the preaching needed by the spirit, soul and body came out from Him.

He richly gives all good things for us to enjoy (I Timothy 6:17). He is a good Father who knows to give good gifts to His children (Mathew 7:11). The Word He gave, remain as the bread of life. Man shall not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.

Jesus talked about the things of the present and also about those of the eternity. He spoke about peace, and He also revealed the way to receive the divine peace. He spoke about rebirth and also about Salvation. He talked about the Holy Spirit and showed the way for eternity.

Dear children of God, whenever you read the Scripture, realise that Jesus is speaking to you with love. Pay heed to His words. His words are not only sweet, but they also reveal the love He has upon you. Dear children of God, read the Scripture willingly.

To meditate: “The officers answered, “No man ever spoke like this man” (John 7:46).
