JUNE 8 – LOVE AND INTEGRATION!
“And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins” (I Peter 4:8).
The divine love unites the hearts and embraces them. It pushes away the fear and also covers a multitude of sins. It is essential in removing the powers of separation and bringing in spiritual integration.
The skin in the body of a man covers the bones, flesh and nerves and protects them. In the same way, people with divine love protect the family love and the fellowship. Whichever man has the divine love in his heart will not mind the faults and shortfalls of others. That divine love tolerates and endures everything
Once, a post-mortem of a body picked from an accident spot was in progress. Parts like the lungs, intestines and nerves were visible, and it looked awkward. I was having a look at those parts for the first time.
On completion of the post-mortem process, the body got stitched after placing the organs in their positions inside. The skin covered everything and removed the awkward appearance. The skin covered all the dirty appearances and made the outer body look neat.
Similarly, the man who has this divine love in him will not mind the faults, shortfalls, bitterness and zeal of others but readily forgive and forget them. Thus, he will protect the integration with divine love.
Let love be present in all your activities. Always speak words of love. When we visit villages for ministering, the village people will surely welcome us with love though they will not have anything to offer us. They will provide cold water drawn from the mud pot and lend a hearty welcome. That love will gladded our hearts.
It is another grace to have a smiling face. The sweet appearance of the face heals the worries. People from many walks of life came running towards Jesus Christ as He had love and kindness in His face. Even the tax collectors and the sinners moved with Him closely.
Dear children of God, let all your deeds possess divine love. When you show love to others, they will show multiple times of love in return. Further, it will enable them to witness Christ in you.
To meditate: “Love…… bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things” (I Corinthians 13:4, 7).
