MAY 27 – WILL REIGN!

“ For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:17).

Because of one man by the name of Adam, mankind lost the power to reign. Sin and death entered because of the transgression of Adam. But, grace and truth came in because of Jesus Christ. He became the way for one to prevail over sin and death.

Once, a boy belonging to a hill tribe came down with lot of difficulty from the hill for the first time in his life. He descended from the hill, crossed the river in a boat, and reached the town he had intended to visit. Everything in the town was new to him, and even ordinary things made him wonder. He saw an electric bulb in a shop, and the brightness it gave was very much new for him. He thought that if he could get one bulb, he could make his entire residential place bright. With this thought, he bought one bulb spending all that he had on hand.

The boy had a great expectation in him. He went back to his place, met his people and told them that he had brought a wonderful thing and it could change the night into day. Saying this, he tried his level best to make the bulb burn, but all his efforts ended in futile. The simple reason is that there was no electricity. The shop keeper who sold him the bulb also had not enlightened him about this.

Even if you want to rise and shine, you should get connected to electrifying Jesus Christ. He is the one to provide you with power and strength. If one stays in Christ, he will have reign and authority.

They will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17), says the Scripture. In some translations, this verse appears as ‘They will reign as kings in life through the One, Jesus Christ. Yes. You will reign as kings.

If you had not yet found a place in the family of the King of kings, submit yourself now for Jesus Christ. He is the origin of all the blessings. All good things descend only from Him. He is the hill from where the help comes.

Dear children of God, when God gives you the reign, He will also provide health to your body, deliverance to your soul and fill you with the joy of Salvation and power of the Holy Spirit.

To meditate: “But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you” (Mathew 12:28).
