MAY 24 – GO THEREFORE!

“All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore …………” (Mathew 28:18, 19).

Since you are aware that Jesus Christ is provided with all powers, you are able to get ready and go. If you had not known it or if you had not believed it, can you get ready and go? Going forward, without proper preparation, will end in danger.

But if one goes with the power and authority given by God, he will surely attain success. Lord is vested with power not only in earth. He is vested with power in heaven, on the earth and under the earth. This is what is meant by ‘All authority.’

The Scripture says, “….that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth” (Philippians 2:10).  That is why when He asks you to go, you are able to go ahead not only with His power and authority but also with His Name. Christ never fails, and when you go ahead with His Name, you also will not fail.

He sends you similar to how the sheep are sent in the midst of wolves. But, you are more powerful than wolves. God is with you. The angels are also with you. The entire heaven and holy souls are with you. God asks you to go in that situation only.

When a Government commands a warrior to go, it will not send him simply. It will provide Him with a battle uniform and the weapons required for the battle. It will also provide him with sufficient weapons and ways and means to protect himself from the attack of the enemies. In the same way, God is providing you with promises when you go. Jesus Christ said, “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and overall the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19). What a powerful promise it is!

When Jesus asks you to go, He sends you after empowering you with gifts and power. He strengthens you with promises and power which no one could oppose. Dear children of God, when you try to bind, it will be bound, and when you try to loosen, it will be loosened.

To meditate: “…whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven” (Mathew 16:19).
