Oct 16 – FAITH AND DIVINE HEALTH!

“And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up” (James 5:15).
Faith is attached to every step in Christian life. Without faith, you cannot attain the perfect blessings of God.
God likes His children to prosper in all things and to live in good health. But the deceitful satan brings sickness, diseases and weaknesses to man. Jesus Christ said, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy” (John 10:10).
Jesus came to give His life and to make the life attain perfection. He heals all your sickness so that you are with the life of Christ and remain healthy too. When a sick person prays with the faith that God will heal him, that prayer of faith heals him.
What should you believe for your sickness to get healed? You have to accept that Jesus Christ is the remedy not only for your sins but also for your sickness. Has He not made a covenant with you saying that He would heal our sickness?
God has promised, “I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you” (Exodus 15:26). He has borne all your sickness on the Cross.
Look up to God who accepted the stripes for your sake, with faith. Seek God saying, “My God, have you not borne my sickness on the Cross! Have you not accepted all my weaknesses! Make me healthy.’ He will surely command perfect deliverance and perfect health. Not a single one of His blessed words has failed ever.
Once, when Paul the Apostle came to Lystra, a certain man without strength in his feet who was a cripple from his mother’s womb and had never walked was sitting there listening to him. Paul observed him intently and seeing that he had faith in him to get healed, said with a loud voice, “Stand up straight on your feet!” And he leapt and walked (Acts 14:8-10).
Look at how a servant of God found the faith within him. The faith he had in him healed him. It is faith that brings divine healing. Dear children of God, believe and thereby receive the miracles.
To meditate: “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life” (I John 1:1).
