Jan 02 – The Ark of Noah!
“On the very same day Noah and Noah’s sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, and Noah’s wife and the three wives of his sons with them, entered the ark” (Genesis 7:13).
You have stepped into a new year within the grace of the Lord. You have entered into His immeasurable love, mercy, and compassion. As you live in Christ, the Lord will surely guard you as the apple of His eye and lift you up.
When Moses was born, his mother made a tiny wicker basket to save him from Pharaoh’s cruel decree. In that little ark, there was room only for baby Moses. But the ark Noah built had room for his entire family — Noah and his wife, Shem and his wife, Ham and his wife, Japheth and his wife — all were safely kept inside.
Today, another ark stands before us — Jesus, the living Ark. In Him, there is room not for one or eight alone, but for all who believe in His Name and receive Him. Even today, the door of this Ark remains open. Christ longs to gather you into it.
Noah’s family entered the ark. Dear children of God, where are you and your family today? Are you inside the Ark or outside of it? Are you dwelling in the shelter of the Most High, or exposed beneath the open sky? Are you resting under the shadow of the Almighty, or lingering under the fleeting shadows of worldly pleasures?
We have come to the end times. Every individual has an appointed end — so do nations, governments, and even the world itself. Turn the pages of history: civilizations rose, cities flourished, empires emerged, mighty rulers appeared — and the Lord brought each to an end.
We now live in the time Scripture calls the end of the world. It is a time to remain safely within the Ark. God desires that you and your family enter into it together. Just as the Lord destroyed the world by flood in Noah’s time, the present world is reserved for fire.
Dear children of God, in this new year, examine yourselves once again: Are you truly inside Christ, the Ark? If you see any lack, correct it immediately and step fully into Him.
Verse for further meditation: “But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers” (1 Peter 4:7).
