Apr 14 – Richly Blessed!
“For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.” (Romans 10:12)
Our Father is rich, and we are His special children. We have received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Holy Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God (Romans 8:15–16).
You are special. You are the children of the King of kings and heirs of the Lord of lords. Therefore, there is no need for you to walk with your head bowed in shame. Do not allow anyone to belittle you or treat you as insignificant.
Since you are children of the Most High God, let the purposes, goals, and visions of your life always be lofty and noble. You were brought into being according to the will and the glorious purpose of the Lord. He has great and wonderful plans concerning you.
Yes, surely a glorious future awaits you. Stay away from those who mock you, despise you, or treat you with contempt. Truly noble people always regard others as noble. The Lord Himself has esteemed you highly. Among all His creation, you are precious.
A godly man once said, “The Lord never creates any person without use, or significance. He does not waste His time making something that has no purpose.” Since the Lord considers you special, never allow an inferiority complex to enter your heart.
If you desire to reach a higher and deeper spiritual life, there are five steps to follow:
- Remember that you are children of God and His heirs.
- Use the abilities and gifts the Lord has given you.
- Bring into action the power that the Lord has placed within you.
- Reflect upon the heavenly blessings and riches that are yours in Christ Jesus.
- Rejoice in thinking about the heavenly kingdom that you will inherit.
Though you once were as nothing, God took you into His family as His own children. gave you the authority and identity. He filled you with His power. He enriched you with every heavenly blessing. And He has promised you an eternal kingdom. Children of God, will you praise with hearts full of gratitude to the Lord?
Verse for further meditation: “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)
