Jul 25 – Share Freely!

“For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them and was raised again.” (2 Corinthians 5:14–15)

There is a deep connection between divine presence and sharing with others. Sometimes, when we share our testimonies, love, and acts of kindness, and then enter into prayer, we begin to tangibly feel the loving presence of God embracing us with heavenly joy.

One day, my father was walking alone on the road when a man approached him and asked, “Is there a nearby place where I can get meals at a low cost? I can’t afford to go to a fancy restaurant.” Hearing this, my father sensed that the man didn’t have enough money. Out of compassion, he pulled out a hundred-rupee note, handed it to the man, and said, “Please take this. There’s a good restaurant nearby. Go and enjoy a meal in peace.”

The man had no idea who my father was, and my father never knew the man’s story. But when he returned home and began to pray, he was overwhelmed with a joy he couldn’t explain. That whole day, he was carried by a special grace from God. He could sense Jesus saying, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for Me” (Matthew 25:40). Tears of joy flowed as he basked in the Lord’s presence.

Sometimes, when you share the goodness that God has shown you with others — in word, in action, in generosity — a deep joy and a tangible sense of God’s presence fills your soul. I have seen young people return from village ministry, standing outside the church in the evening, singing songs of praise to the Lord: “Victory, victory, hallelujah! Victory always to the name of Jesus!” As they praised with this song, the presence of God would descend so richly, they would break into joyful dance, overwhelmed by His nearness.

Dear child of God, share your love, your testimony, and your blessings with others — and may the presence of God overflow in your life.

Verse for further meditation: “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The world does not know us because it did not know Him.” (1 John 3:1)
