Mar 24 – HE KNOWS THE INTENTS !

“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; Before you were born, I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations” (Jeremiah 1:5).

God knows all the intents of your hearts, and He knows the path in which He should lead you. Even when Jeremiah was very young, the Lord had a clear intent about his life. When Jeremiah said: “Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth”( Jeremiah 1:6), the Lord answered Him and said: “I knew you”. Be reassured today that the same Lord who knew Jeremiah even before he was formed in his mother’s womb, knows you completely.

You are chosen by the Lord. That is why the eyes of the Lord have seen you, among billions of people in this world. That is why He came in search of you with all the love. He lifted you up in His hands, and begot you as His own child. He cleansed you spotless from all the stains of sin, with His precious blood, shed on Calvary. He has also made a covenant with you through that blood.

Your life is in the hands of God. He is holding you in His glorious hands. You are standing in the gap caused on His hands and feet, that were pierced by the nails. That glorious hand is leading you. And who can snatch you away from that mighty hand of God? The Lord says: “Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, And all the remnant of the house of Israel, who have been upheld by Me from birth, who have been carried from the womb: Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you” (Isaiah 46:3-4).

My grandmother used to tell my father, in his younger days, that she had dedicated him for service to the Lord, even when he was still in her womb. And that she prayed for him to be used mightily in the service of the Lord. These words never departed from his heart. And in the prime of his youth, the Lord drew him unto Himself, with His strong love. The Lord knew and understood him so completely. His grace was sufficient to establish my father in the ministry of writing and publishing spiritual books. God who had clear purpose for his life, was also able to fulfill that in his life.

Children of God, you are so special in the hand of God. Lord has a purpose in and through your life. He will never leave you as orphans nor forsake you. And He will definitely fulfill His purpose in your life.

Verse for further meditation: “Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you” (Genesis 28:15).
