Jan 27 – Perfect Glory!

“The royal daughter is all glorious within the palace” (Psalm 45:13).

Your worldly life should grow from glory to glory and be perfected in glory. When you accept Jesus into your heart, He resides in you as the King of Glory. And the seed of glory is planted within you. As you grow in the image of Christ, the seed of glory that is placed in you also grows towards perfection.

The Scripture says: “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son” (Romans 8:29). “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord” (2 Corinthians 3:18).

Dear children of God, there is hope for you to move from glory to glory. You should progress in that hope towards perfect glory. That hope will never fail you. Now, what should you do to have such perfect glory? You should understand when the royal daughter will be perfected in her glory. The Scripture says: “Listen, O daughter, Consider and incline your ear; Forget your own people also, and your father’s house” (Psalm 45:10).

There is deep spiritual secret in the above verse. As a bride of Christ, you can expect holiness from God, only when you die to your sins. Only when the past sinful life is completely dead, will you be able to enter into a life of glory. When God called out Abraham, he said: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you” (Genesis 12:1).

Why did God say that to Abraham? Because only then Abraham will be able to rely fully on God. Only when he forgets his father’s house and his mother’s house, will he be able to hold on to God firmly, and pass on toward perfect glory.

That day, Abraham had to forget his father’s house and his mother’s house, in order to enter into the land of Canaan. In the same manner, it is important for you to hate and forsake all the things that belong to the ruler of this world, in order to enter into the eternal Canaan – the land of eternal glory. Only then, will you be able to attain perfect glory in your inner man. Children of God, consecrate yourselves to progress from glory to glory and to be found in Mount Zion. And the Lord will lead you in the path of glory.

Verse for further meditation: “And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God” (Revelation 21:10).
