Dec 02 – WISDOM OF GOD!
“and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship” (Exodus 31:3)
Our God is impartial and He will not grant to something to one person and deny to another. Whenever you read of the blessings that God has granted to the saints of God, you should stake a claim of those blessings for you and your family.
May be your children are not as bright in their studies, as you would expect them to be. They may be lacking interest in studies or capacity to memorize what they learn. But when you pray for complete wisdom for your children, to God who gives liberally to all, will grant perfect wisdom and bless them.
In the Scripture, we read about a young man by Bezalel, the son of Uri (Exodus 31:2). God chose him and filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge. And because of that he became a great craftsman excelling in all manner of workmanship. He became an expert in designing artistic works, to work in gold, in silver, in bronze, in cutting jewels for setting, in carving wood, and to work in all manner of workmanship. He, however did not waste away that wisdom but offered it unto God, and in building the temple of God. He used his God-given wisdom and expertise in creating the ark of the Testimony, and the mercy seat that is on it, and all the furniture of the tabernacle – just as the Lord commanded.
When you ask in prayer, God will also grant such wisdom to your children. Whatever is the knowledge or wisdom, whether it is about Computers or Mathematics, Science or Commerce, ask it from the Lord, as He is eager to grant good gifts to His children. Like in the case of Daniel, who was ten times wiser than all the other wise men, God will grant ten-fold wisdom to your children.
Never give in to fear, whenever you appear for an examination, or start a new job or travel to an overseas destination. Our God who grants wisdom will also abide with you, and give you the grace and perfect all things for you. For the wisdom of God is not according to worldly standard but divine.
Verse for further meditation: “The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.”(Isaiah 11:2)
