Nov 29 – SET YOU HIGH !

“The Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth” (Deuteronomy 28:1)

Our Lord is the One who exalts you and blesses you. He esteems you highly. He considers the days of your shame and brings it to an end.

When God called Abraham, He promised to set him on high and said: “I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing” (Genesis 12:2). This promise is not only meant for Abraham but to all of you, who are the spiritual descendants of Abraham, in faith.

God also told Abraham: “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed” (Genesis 12:3). The Words of God are never changing. And the One who has promised is faithful to fulfill those promises.

He will surely exalt you in your family, in your workplace and in your ministry. Therefore, praise Him and give Him thanks, and be strengthened in your faith.

Declare boldly that from today, the Lord is going to exalt you and that you are going to lead a honourable life. The Lord desires to grant you success in all your endeavours. The Lord fights your battles and grants you the blessing of victory.

“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ…” (2 Corinthians 2:14). Since the Victorious Lord who went ahead of the Israelites, is marching ahead of you, you will be triumphant during all the days of your life.

Not only the honour of victory, but the Lord will also exalt you in terms of your holiness. The Scripture says: “The Lord will establish you as a holy people to Himself, just as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in His ways” (Deuteronomy 28:9).

Words cannot describe the excellence of holiness. When you are holy and righteous, Satan cannot even come close to you. When you are holy, you are filled with the delightful presence of God. He cleanses you and makes you holy through His precious blood, through His word and through the Holy Spirit. Dear children of God, make a steady progress in your holiness and be exalted!

Verse for further meditation:  “Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you” (Deuteronomy 28:10)
