Sep 24 – ONE WHO MAKES THINGS ABOUND!
“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work” (II Corinthians 9:8).
God is powerful to make all grace abound in you. God who created you is powerful to create new grace for you. Everything should be sufficient for you always and all good things should be abundant in you; this is what the will of God is.
He makes all grace abundant in you so that you remain perfect. Think a little over the term ‘all grace.’ You require grace for everything; to stand, to do ministry and to dedicate to the will of God. The Scripture has a mention of such graces.
Peter the Apostle writes, “…testifying that this is the true grace of God in which you stand” (I Peter 5:12). Yes. It is the grace of God that makes even the fallen people rise and stand erect. Further, that grace protects them from falling again. Some good Spiritual Christians remain as servants of God who could powerfully do the ministry for twenty or even thirty years. Do you know the reason for them to keep their ministry and calling intact? It is nothing but receiving the grace of God which strengthens them.
God touched my father in the year 1973. He lifted him with His grace. My father was able to do the ministry continuously for forty-five years with the God-given strength. God blessed my father with His wisdom and prudence and helped him to write hundreds of spiritual books. The grace of God is the only reason behind all these achievements. It is the grace of God that made him stand erect.
Many people get disheartened on seeing some believers and servants of God, who have fallen down from their positions. Whether they rise or fall, what is certain is that they belong to God. God is powerful to raise them in a twinkle of an eye.
Instead of remaining in a frustrated state over the fallen people, follow the saints of God who plentifully gain souls with the help of the grace of God. Dear children of God, the grace that has made you stand firm thus far is powerful to protect you until His Coming.
To meditate: “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me” (I Corinthians 15:10).
