JULY 13 – DAY OF SALVATION!
“Remember me, O Lord, with the favour you have toward your people. Oh, visit me with your salvation” (Psalm 106:4).
These final days are the ones in which God meets His children and provides Salvation to them, free of cost. See how David prays saying, “Oh, visit me with your salvation”.
In these final days, God has raised numerous servants of God. The messages of Salvation, the messages of the Coming of Christ and the messages of redemption are being proclaimed everywhere. The latter rain of the Holy Spirit is poured all over the nation. God has risen countless prayer warriors and is preparing the people for His Coming. Jesus said, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come” (Mathew 24:14). The Gospel reaching more people is one of the important signs for His Coming.
We never expected our father to become a full-time preacher of the Gospel. He was working in the Income Tax Department. My mother was also working in the Revenue Department of the Government. But, when God gave His vision and made a call for them to come to the full-time ministry, they obeyed Him. God gave them a heavy ministerial burden that was beyond their level to bear. He wrote Spiritual books day and night, conducted fasting prayers and also carried out the Gospel ministry.
The Scripture says, “Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent” (Acts 17:30). The past period was a period of ignorance. Our forefathers were in the darkness of ignorance and were worshipping the idols. God pitied the people, brought missionaries from foreign countries and helped in proclaiming the Gospel to them.
But now, you know God and that His Coming will be very soon. So, get your sins washed with the blood of Jesus Christ, get your sins forgiven and submit yourself to the ministry of God as much as possible.
Let not even a day get wasted. Even the tears could not bring the water back to the storage if it had already crossed the dam. In the same way, you will never get back the days which you have lazily wasted in the past. “…how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation” (Hebrews 2:3).
Dear children of God, when you go to heaven, you cannot go empty-handed. Resolve to go there with thousands of souls.
To meditate: “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation” (II Corinthians 6:2).
