Mar 298 – HE CARES FOR YOU !

“Cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7).

Our God lovingly takes care of us. He cares for our well-being, our spiritual status, and our family. You experience a divine comfort in your heart, because the Lord takes care of you.

Once when we were returning after the Tirupathur fasting camp, our car met with a major accident. I was the one driving the car. My father, my mother and I sustained serious injuries from the accident. And all three of us were admitted in a hospital.

Everyday the children of God, will visit us in the hospital, to enquire about our health and our recovery. Many servants of God would also call us over the phone to comfort and encourage us and tell us not to be troubled. We were also overwhelmed with the tearful prayers of the children of God. How wonderful it is to be a part of God’s family!!

When we are sorrowful, we long for others to enquire us with love. In such moments, irrespective of whether we have or do not have someone to take care of us, our Lord Jesus is always by our side, to shower His love upon us and to take care of us. Prophet Isaiah says: “You shall weep no more. He will be very gracious to you at the sound of your cry; When He hears it, He will answer you” (Isaiah 30:19).

When Hagar was going through a tempest in her life, she had to flee with her child, from the house of Abraham. All that the rich man Abraham gave her, were some breads and a skin of water. There was no one to take care of her in the wilderness. But the Lord took care of her. Then the angel of God called Hagar out of heaven, and asked her: “What ails you, Hagar? Fear not, for God has heard the voice of the lad where he is” (Genesis 21:17).

Even when no one understands you in this world, our Lord fully appreciates your current position, comes near you with loving kindness and takes care of you. And He comforts just like a mother would comfort and console you. The Scripture says: “Cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7).

Those who take all the griefs upon themselves murmur and grumble against God. To them the Lord says: “But you have not called upon Me, O Jacob; And you have been weary of Me, O Israel” (Isaiah 43:22). Children of God, Since the Lord cares for you, cast away all your cares and always be joyful in the Lord.

Verse for further meditation: “Cast your burden on the LORD, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved” (Psalm 55:22).
