Mar 13- HE SHALL SUPPLY !

“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19).

There is no person who is without a lack. There are some who have bodily illness, and some others who experience a lack in their mind. Yet others suffer from a restless spirit. The world is full of lacks and curses, because of sin. Man lost the prosperity and perfect state of the Garden of Eden, due to sin. Even amidst food scarcity, lack of wisdom and failing health that is prevalent in the world, the Lord is able to fulfill all the needs and grants perfection and prosperity.

The Scripture says: “ The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing” (Psalm 34:10). In some other translations, this reads: ‘The strong and mighty suffer of hunger due to poverty. But the children of God will be nourished’.

For all your needs, you have to only look unto the Creator of heaven and earth, as He is the One who called you, who leads you and who shepherds you. Psalmist David fixed his eyes on God and says: “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1).

Do you feel sorry that you have a low income? Then, the moment you receive your earnings, you should go into the presence of God as a family and pray fervently to God, the good shepherd to bless that income. The Lord who fed five thousand people with just five loaves of bread and two fish, will also bless you and take care of all your needs. The same Lord who fed two million people Israelites, will also surely feed you and take care of all your needs.

Many people, when they have a financial issue, think about getting a loan from someone or pledging some item, instead of looking unto God. Till such time, their mind is filled with such ideas of getting loans, the Lord will also let them dwell in their indebtedness. But whoever looks unto the Lord as his shepherd, and determines in his heart never to seek a loan, irrespective of the situation, then the Lord will continue to do miracles in the life of that person.

Children of God, whenever you go through a lack in your life, tell the Lord to bless you as He blessed the flour and oil of the widow of Zarephath. When you seek Him, He will supply and fulfill all your need according to His riches.

Verse for further meditation: “But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing” (James 1:4).
