Feb 15 – THROUGH THE TEACHER !

“And though the Lord gives you The bread of adversity and the water of affliction, Yet your teachers will not be moved into a corner anymore, But your eyes shall see your teachers” (Isaiah 30: 20)

In the times of Old Testament, God spoke through the Priests, Prophets and Kings. And in the times of New Testament, we have Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers given to us. And the Lord gives you counsel, admonishes you and teaches you through them. And shows you the way that you should walk in.

Many years ago, my father – Bro. Sam Jebadurai, went to the Church run by Pastor Paul Yonggi Cho, in South Korea. There, every word spoken by that Pastor proved to be of great benefit to my father. It was then that the Lord spoke in the heart of my father to start the revival in India, similar to the one he witnessed in Korea. The Lord spoke to him that a great army of prayer warriors should be raised up in India. He revealed His will that a great multitude be raised up in India to praise and worship the Lord.

Therefore, immediately upon his return to India, the Lord gave him the grace to start the Thirupathur Fasting Camps. God gave the oneness of heart and raised up Bro. Mohan C Lazarus and Bro. Thudhi Shankar to join hands in this ministry.

Many who met up with my father, used to ask him, how he was able to author hundreds of spiritual books. And he will respond by saying: ‘What the Lord speaks to me, I share with the Church through sermons. And what I preach, I put it down in writing, and bring them out in the form of books. It is through those books, that the Lord is speaking to thousands of people.”

Whether it is an upcoming servant of God, or an established minister of God – God can speak to you through any of them. He can speak to you, even through a servant of God, involved in village ministry. Whenever you go to the church, you should not go there without any aspiration, but with a clear longing in your heart that the Lord should speak to you. Also, you should pray and expect that the Lord should use your Pastor mightily on that day.

Children of God, when the Lord speaks to you through the Pastor or Teacher, please heed to it completely. Consider it as a personal message given just for you. Then those words will be a great comfort, encouragement and blessing for you.

Verse for further meditation: “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching” (Hebrews 10: 25).
