Oct 12 – KINGDOM, POWER AND GLORY!

“For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever” (Mathew 6:13).
The praise of God remains as the final part of the Lord’s Prayer. There was big worship before the creation of the world. The forthcoming eternity also will be filled with worships.
You, who have been called to be the children of God, may always do good things for God always and extend praise, exaltation and glory to Him. The Kingdom is His, the power is His and the glory also is His. All authority has been given in heaven and on earth to Him (Mathew 28:18).
Whatever you do, do it for the divine glory alone. Herod sought his own glory and as a result, he was struck by an angel of God, eaten by worms and died pathetically. Is it not? So, whatever you do, do it in the presence of God and thank Him always.
He is the King of kings. He is the God of gods. He is the Alpha and the Omega. He is the first and the last. He is one to have the keys for the hades and death (Revelation 1:11, 17, 18).
When we read the Scripture, we see that divine power is filled in it from the beginning to the end which surprises us. God is vested with all the powers like the power of healing, the power of performing miracles, the power of forgiving sins and the power of resurrection. The power belongs to God.
God has given His power and authority to you only for the reason that His Name should be glorified. His only aim was that you should rule in His Name, as holy and victorious.
He, who crushed the head of satan has empowered you with authority and power to overcome all the powers of the enemy. When you make use of that power, miracles happen and the divine Name gets glorified.
When God tested Abraham, He revealed His power and said, “I am Almighty God; walk before me and be blameless” (Genesis 17:1).
Dear children of God, you need not fear over anything as the Almighty God marches ahead of you. You can walk victoriously by giving honour and glory to Him. When He walks ahead of you, who could stand against you?
To meditate: “God has spoken once, twice I have heard this: that power belongs to God” (Psalm 62:11).
