AUG 21 – LET US INHERIT THE NATION!

“Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it” (Numbers 13:30).

In the book of Numbers, we read in the 13th chapter, about Moses sending twelve persons for spying. The news they brought is similar to the one what we receive today in the spiritual world. Ten out of the sent twelve returned with a negative message that it would be tough to inherit the promised land of Canaan. Even today, in this spiritual world, many people say that it is not possible to bring in Revival in the nation and they also say that the churches cannot bring in Redemption. Thus, they are stumbling in lack of faith.

At the same time, read in the Scripture about the other who were Caleb and Joshua. They are the ones who possess the Spirit of God. Nothing is impossible for those who rely upon the strength of God. Do you know what they said? “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it” (Numbers 13:30).

Today God has made you stand in India. How is your faith? Is it one which says ‘Possible or a mere ‘Impossible’? Are you standing with the ten people who brought the negative news or with Caleb and Joshua?

When God promised the Holy Spirit, He did not promise the same for Jerusalem and Judea alone. He said, “You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8). When the verse says “End of the earth” it includes India also. Is it not? Walk through the towns and villages with Jesus Christ. Preach the Gospel with full strength. Jesus wants to meet the nation through you.

Paul the Apostle says, “….not boasting of things beyond measure, that is, in other men’s labours, but having hope, that as your faith is increased, we shall be greatly enlarged by you in our sphere, to preach the gospel in the regions beyond you,” (II Corinthians 10:15, 16).

Dear children of God, how long our country could stay immersed in darkness? How long our people could remain enslaved to darkness and be distressed? How long our people could stay without knowing that Jesus Christ is our shepherd and redeemer? Shouldn’t we redeem the souls? Is it not a necessity for you to initiate to inherit the nation for God?

To meditate: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).
