Mar 25 – TRUST WITH ALL YOUR HEART!

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:5, 6).

In every chapter in the book of ‘Proverbs,’ there is a mention about the faith, placed over God. The verse given above gives deeper spiritual meanings in most of the other translations. The term ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart,’ is defined as ‘Lean upon Him with hope’ and ‘Hold Him firmly, reveal about it,’ in other languages.

A famous Jewish Rabbi said the following while commenting about this verse. “All the philosophies of the Judaism stand firm in this verse. A person who has faith over God alone could lean upon Him. The preaching over the faith over God is the basis for the whole of the Old Testament. Those who are wise will place their faith in God and build their life according to the commandment of God.”

If you try to find the details for the word ‘belief’ in a book of Thesaurus, you can find the following. “This word reveals the firm faith one places on a person or an object. It indicates how one can rely upon a person who is truthful, righteous and a man of good conduct.”

May it be the government, economy or the organisations, all depend on belief alone. The husband believes that the wife is truthful to him, and the wife beloieves vice versa. All the relationships among the people of the world rely upon belief alone.

If there is one, on whom you can lean upon in this life of the world or the life after, it is Jesus Christ only. You cannot walk alone in this world filled with struggles. In this world, which is surrounded by the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places, you have to rely upon a person who would protect and guide you.

Dear children of God, when you place your full faith and lean upon God, who is the unshakable pillar, He will guide you to the end.        To meditate: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony” (Hebrews 11:1, 2).
